To celebrate Heritage Week 2022, Scéal Heritage Consultancy are back in the Museum for another craft workshop to create and decorate your own toy train! On Sunday 21st August, children aged 7 – 12 years can build, paint, and decorate their own small locomotive train cab, and learn about the story of the first trains.
During the workshop, step on board a real train in the Museum! Experience what it was like to be the train driver, pretend to be a passenger, and discover the exciting history of trains in Ireland! Participation in the workshop is free, but there are only a few spots remaining, so advance booking is essential. Contact scealheritage@gmail.com to book a place on the workshop.
