A vast collection of Rail Memorabilia for you to enjoy

The Museum is located adjacent to Hells Kitchen Bar in Castlerea
County Roscommon, Ireland. The Museum boasts the Largest Private
Collection of Rail Memorabilia in Ireland. The pride of this
collection is an A55 Diesel Locomotive fully and lovingly restored.
Also on display are bells, lamps, shunting poles, signal equipment,
staffs, station boards, etc. We also have a T.V monitor for
viewing archival material. The
whole project cost £150,000 and we are very grateful for
the grant aid of £35,000 which we received from the Roscommon
Enterprise Board.

Coming soon to the Museum is
a recently discovered Train Bicycle which was used to
inspect track, it is currently been restored and hopefully
will be in the museum for you to view in the summer |
